Legacy

All to often we loose "legends" "heroes", very iconic people in time and in a way that's not so iconic, in a way that is heart breaking, bitter, hard to swallow. It seems that after they are gone we talk about all their struggles their difficulties in life their struggles with fortune or fame. Most of them all searching for the same things, happiness, a sense of belonging, and to be loved. Money can buy things and in the moment it can feel good but it wears off quickly, until you find something new, drugs often numb but only for a bit, and how is life happy when you can't feel it. We don't belong on earth this is a temporary home, their is only one true way to know happiness and love and that is through Christ. Some people seem to have nothing but its what's in their heart and they have it all, or some seem to have everything on the outside but on the inside they are empty. Pray for these legends and heroes that they to might know Christ and his love that they will learn to let him lead and they will follow. Whitney Houston is one of the many lost in just the last few years. I pray for peace and comfort for her family that they find joy where it seems difficult. Pray for those around you that they find happiness, and love through Christ above!
