Christs Image

I have a friend who is going through a hard time her brother disagrees with a choice she has made and has basically in a way decided to disown her. He is a Christian. You know as a Christian one of the most important things I have found that I should recognize about myself is that I am a sinner without Christ but with Christ I am freed from my sin because he died on the cross for me. Be consious that I sin and I still am a work in progress helps me to live more in Christs Image each day. I am reminded on the many times that Christ poured his love upon those who were cast out because of things they have done. It is easy to say someone who drinks consistantly is an alcholic or someone who is addicted to a substance an addict, or someone who sells their body a prostitute but by doing so we are lableing them just that rather than thinking of them as someone who God created from the amount of hairs on their head to the color of their eyes, to the size of their feet. They were made is his image. We were all made in Christs image its what we decide to do with it. But please challenge yourselves to live in Christ's Image, to show mercy, and love to those who are struggling. There is never going to be a time when you do something that Christ will turn his back upon you, and say "Now you have do it". I beleive he says "There is nothing you could do that could make me love you less".

Will you accept the gift?

Easter is a time to remember what God did. "For GOd so loved the world that he gave his one and only begotten son that whosoever believes in him shall not parish but have eternal life." John 3:16
Lets remember the price Jesus paid for our sins. He was beaten nearly to death, whipped, he had a crown of thorn not placed on his head but pushed down into his head. He was then nailed to a cross With nails in his hands and feet. He Died on the cross for OUR sins, for yours and for mine. He gave us the gift of forgivenss that all we must do is ask God for forgivenss. Its his gift to us.
However what good is a gift if we do not accept that gift, for the gift to be mine I must accpet it. Remember God is offering you the gift of forgivenss you must accpet the Gift!

What am I going to do?
Whats my purpose?
Who am I?
Where do I belong?
How do I fit in?
Whats my plan?
Will life ever get better?
Whats my worth?
Do I really matter?


For The lord your God has made you in his image,
He see's perfection. He has a plan for your life.
He knows where you have been and what you have done.
He has heard your cries, he has wiped the tears from
your eyes. He has chosen you. You hold great worth.
You mean so much that he gave his only son to die
on the cross for you.

For it's the moment you realize that you were made in
his image and with perfection that you will find the
answers to your questions!
