Blessings are being poured upon me!!

Okay so I recieved a call yesterday and it was a director from the center that I work at and he asked if I would be interested in a full time position. I said definantly and he said okay he just wanted to see and the supervisors were going to get together and talk about the position available. I was called this morning I am now FULL time staff... benefits, more pay!!! AWESOME!!!!! Then also last night my boyfriend called and asked what I thought about a champagne color Trailblazer... needless to say I now drive a Trailblazer!!! I alos had the opportunity to pay it forward. My car was given to me when I was in time of need and I had the opportunity to give my car to someone who didnt have a vehicle. Blessings are great when you are the giver and the receiver!!!

My new Job!

So I have now been at my new job going into my 5th week. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my job! I work at the Berrien County Juvenile Center. Everyday is different some easier than others. I work as a Youth Specialist. My job is basically "parenting" in a way. We also teach the 8 basic social skills, RBT which is Rational behavior training, we help them set weekly goals and expectations. I really enjoy my job. What a really enjoy about it is that I know that I have a heart for these kids and that when I leave I dont take it with me in the way that I go home stressed and depressed but I pray for these kids. I love this song and this is my prayer for the kids going through the Juvenile center and for some family and friends that I know are having a hard time right now.
